Ratti Gali Lake is 237 kilometers from Islamabad, making it easily accessible. The journey to the lake starts from Dowarian, Neelum Valley, AJ&K, located about 106 kilometers from Muzaffarabad. To reach the base camp of the lake, 4WD jeeps must be hired from Dowarian. In a jeep, it took almost two hours to reach the base camp. The base camp provides camps and other essentials like food. Ensure you rest well and refuel your body ahead of your challenging hike. Completing the trek of approximately 16 kilometers from the base camp may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the tourist’s fitness level and pace. During the trek, adventure lovers have stunning views of snow-capped mountain peaks, cascading waterfalls, and vibrant alpine flowers.
